Floating

‘"Floating," finds its inspiration in the tranquil beaches and inlets along Sydney's southern coast. Beginning with a charcoal under drawing, i softly shaded with graphite acrylic paint, buildin depth and harmony layer by layer. The infusion of base colours creates a subtle, pastel-like texture that brings the composition to life, drawing viewers into what locals affectionately call 'god's country.' As the scene drifts towards the bay, a pervasive sense of calm echoes the theme of resilience and staying afloat. Crafted with the intention to soothe and inspire, "Floating" stands as a fitting contribution to the "Head Above Water" exhibition, symbolizing the journey of maintaining equilibrium amidst life's challenges.
